Day 10 of Weebsmas: Best Anime to Cosplay in the Winter

Hello and welcome back to 12 Days of Weebsmas! Today we’re going to keep it short and sweet with little to no exposition. Today we’re going to be talking about a few more cosplays that are absolutely ideal for the colder weather. If it’s snowing outside and you’ve got to take those cosplay pics, go to a winter anime convention, or just want to do a winter cosplay any time of year, here are some of the best that will keep you nice and toasty warm.

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End

Admittedly I haven’t watched this yet, but apparently this is one of the best fantasy anime that has come out recently. But you know, it also apparently has cute outfits that should be rather warm. A skirt with leggings? Long sleeves and a half cape? I’d wear that in winter for sure.

Kuroshitsuji

There are a lot of different outfits in Kuroshitsuji, but I will say that the majority of the time, Ciel is hella layered up. So if you cosplayed as him you would definitely be nice and warm. It makes sense he usually is wearing multiple layers considering he lives in England. Plus his coat looks super warm. Sebastian is a fairly warm cosplay too–especially when he’s donning a coat, but not nearly as warm as the young master.

My Hero Academia

While there are some heroes whose outfits would be hecka cold in the winter, the majority of outfits are well-fitted for the cold weather. Featuring full sleeve and pant body suits, sometimes goggle or scarves or gloves–a lot of hero suits are ready for any weather. Again, there are certainly exceptions, but this is definitely a good one for colder temps.

Vinland Saga

I will say no more than–vikings. Vikings are used to the ice so yeah–you probably couldn’t get a warmer winter cosplay than this.

Kanon

I’mma be real. I have never actually seen Kanon. However, I have seen splash page, photos from this anime, art of this anime, and more. If anything, I can say that this anime looks comfy as heck. They are always wearing nice coats and look pretty warm. I could be wrong. But going by looks, yeah I’d say it’s a winter anime.
