Hey everyone, we’re back for another post! This time we’re expanding the list from last year’s Naruto Headbands in the time of Pumpkins – Life is Hard for Otaku – Anime Halloween Costumes. That’s right people, I’m back with reviews with the newest additions and… my, Star, reviews.

Appa

Um. So as you can imagine the front it’s a brown underbelly but honestly this is disturbing haha. I’ve seen kigus that are cuter but this… this is something else. Some things aren’t cute in a kigu form that’s it.

2/10, for bad taste

Naruto

What really gets me about this one is the wig and how it perfectly matches the brightest part of the yellow. Tattered sort of edges doesn’t quite sit right with me. But honestly, not terrible.

Ichigo

Honestly, there isn’t anything special with this one. It’s the ripped red is fun. It’s honestly easier to make a legitimate kimono robe than whatever this is. The mask is well, a mask.

Luffy

Um. This is overpriced. You can find this ensemble in a thrift store, no problem. Buying it for $50 is unreasonable. And I promise what you find in a thrift store would be more conformable than this. I can already tell that the pants are strached straight which makes them very uncomfortable.

1/10 for the price., 9/10 for the accuracy.

Tanjiro

Okay but like, the pose? Sorry, I digress. The Kimono looks fine. The outfit underneath looks like and the shin shields come with the outfit so that’s great. What they don’t tell you is that the earrings and the tattoo come separately.

10/10, honestly pretty accurate

Sokka

This is very clean cut. The shin shields are really good actually but I think the crispness of the outfit is actually why it doesn’t look right. If it was made from cotton or something more durable and thick, less shiny maybe it would be more convincing.

Bakuro

I’m actually a little impressed about the amount of effort in the props, they actually look good. They look pretty solid which is harder to break, then the head piece sitting on his shoulders look a bit shiny but at least it matches the things on his kneees.

Trainees

Honestly, this is hilarious. I love it. I have zero critques.

10/10, would buy for the memes.
