You know, it is the month of March and a certain green-filled holiday is upon us. That’s right, it’s time for St. Patrick’s Day and while we always struggle to find relevant content in the anime world…there is one post I did last year that for some reason or another–people really liked. Or at least they looked at and continued to look at a lot. And that post was our favorite green-haired bitches–I mean–anime characters. So without further ado, I present to you another ten green-haired characters. BUT instead of them being our favorites, this time they are from some of the most basic of anime.
Zoro (One Piece)
The most classic of basic green-haired bitches, Zoro is the most badass on this list. Who didn’t have a crush on this idiotic sword master? I know I did.
Deku (My Hero Academia)
Ugh this crybaby made the list because he too, like Zoro, is, unfortunately, a classic green-haired character now. No shade to My Hero or Deku, but this broccoli head barely counts.
Beelzebub (Beelzebub)
BABY BEELZEBUB! How I forgot to add him to this list last year, I’ll never know. Some would say that he’s just a smaller of version of Zoro but I would say he’s a CUTER version of Zoro.
Zetsu (Naruto)
Okay. To be real, I was running out of characters and Star told me to think of a popular anime and I’d probably find a green-haired character. So Naruto it was and I was like–no way there is a green-haired–yup plant dude Zetsu. So here we are, and here he is.
Lettuce (Tokyo Mew Mew)
I never watched this show growing up but I watched the new version and now I can never forget this character because her name is Lettuce. She’s all green, has green hair, and her name is Lettuce. She’ll go down in green-haired infamy.
Sailor Neptune (Sailor Moon)
I purposely didn’t put Sailor Neptune on this list last year but now that we’re going old school, it’s only right. All green, all the time. Which is funny because I do NOT associate green with neptune but y’know. Apples and Oranges.
Ohjiro Mihara (Angelic Layer)
No further comment. Star added him to the list.
Youji Sagan (Loveless)
I never thought there’d be a day that I’d mention Loveless in one of these posts and here we are. Lowkey, I used to love Youji even if the show was always iffy as all hell. And yes, he counts because his hair is listed as mint green.
Ferio (Magic Knight Rayearth)
Star said he’s a prince and we need more of those in this post. Not to mention when I looked him up, he had the best classic 2000s anime hair — only green haha.
Yushiro (Demon Slayer)
This sassy ass king deserves to own this post. He is lowkey one of my favorite characters to watch throw shade at all the others in Demon Slayer.
There you have it! Tomorrow when everybody else is wearing green, you know exactly what kind of anime keychains to carry around with you to get away with wearing the lucky color. I personally am planning on NOT doing that, but I would highly endorse you all to do so. Show off some of our love to these green-haired classics.
