Hey you lovers, haters and weebs! Welcome to the first day of our annual Doki Doki Days in 2023 as we count down to one of the most romantic days of the year. In this post, we’ll be talking about some of our favorite couples of the year. Which just means, actual romantic interests and canon couples. Those that seem like a couple but hasn’t been proved to be unfortunately can’t be in the running for this year’s coupling.

Miyano x Sasaki

Many viewers had mixed feelings about these two getting together since their flirtation seemed forced. I see people’s points but anime isn’t real life.

Miyako & Junpei

From Dance Dance Danseur

As partners in dance their dynamic was raw and pure which I enjoyed the most. But like any drama if the romance wasn’t there it wouldn’t be dance haha.

Kaguya & Miyuki

From Kaguya-Sama: Love is War – Ultra romantic!

Hands down one of e of my favorite comedic canon couples of all time actually haha.

Claude & Aileen

From I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss

As basic as the story seemed it was actually pretty entertaining and these two were very unlikely heroes.

Yuu & Shikimori

From Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie
