Welcome to Niji Nights 2026! It’s that time again for another Webtoon highlight! It’s been an interesting year of comics new and old but there’s still more to discover and binge.

Love me to Death

Honestly, I should have read this years ago but since I came on late the hefty stack of chapters was intimidating but once this year begun I figured now was the time! This series was so cute and read like a tellanovella. It’s action packed and funny with an interesting magic system revolving around a murder victim, a mourning lover and a necromancer.

Superfish

A wild series about a whimsical magician who finds himself in a strange bind with a regular high school student. It’s comedic and action packed so it’s pretty crack energy.

Love and other wicked things

Such a cute coming of age Girlslove about two witches in a small college town. It’s a coming of age story that was first a novel! I was sad it was over but it was well worth the read.

Chocolate snow

In this adult romance, we follow two men who have a flirtatious infatuation that grows to a committed relationship between two cultures (Korean and Japanese) from two societal statuses. There is also another budding couple who struggle through similar hurdles but from a nightlife perspective.

Words left unspoken

This is the second of werewolf & vampire Boyslove that goes a little slower and a little spicier. These two soul mates seem very unlikely but surprisingly made for each other in a world where supernatural beings live in the open.

Getting to know Grace

This Girlslove is so detailed and ornate as a historical fiction which makes it a beautiful duet between story and style. It is finished and an original so it’s a slightly slower read for a more mature audience.

Seabird and Wolf

This is Mulan meets Pirates of the Caribbean. A girl with a special pet is wrapped up in a plot to rescue her sister by pretending to be a man to travel the great seas as a pirate. It’s action packed with magic and sword fighting as well as an underlining message of independence and freedom of social gender norms. Aaaaaaaaaand a man discovers love for the first time as he finds himself smitten by her inner strength.

Yellow

This is a beautiful anthology of how two girls, a Youtuber and her fan, found love and comfort within each other. It’s true love letter to Sapphic relationships.

Bookeeper

This one surprised me. It’s a slow start Boyslove and one of those taboos where it’s a boss and employee relationship but in a way they are more alike than they thought.
