Hey everyone! Welcome to another day of Doki Doki Days! I have the honor of discussing what the best kisses in anime in our experience has been. Of course, we haven’t seen every anime kiss but please leave a comment below if you’d like us to review one of your favorite anime kisses and maybe you’ll see it featured here in Doki Doki Days.
Best Kiss of the year 2023
I mean, this kiss made them the most popular couple on that show they were in. And honestly, the character development of Akane was so great for the series. I feel Aqua really played his cards well here in terms of the series. (For those of you who saw the anime, you knew what I mean.)
Best Kiss of all time
This is one of the lost cinematic kisses. It’s the beginning of the rest of their lives. It’s gorgeous imagery, color, and the setting is perfect. New hair, new life.
Best Kiss our choice
I would like to mention the most controversial kiss of all time, Yuri on Ice. There’s much discussion around if the kiss was real at all. Because we didn’t see lip on lip action we can’t confidently say this wasn’t just a passionate hug. It happens in one of the most pivotal parts of the anime that I feel like it was but since it technically is considered “off screen” we don’t know.
